A member of the Kazama ninja clan and the brother of Kazuki and Hazuki. He wields the power of water for his skills. The exact opposite of Kazuki, he is very calm. When Kazuki left their clan to save Hazuki, he was ordered to find and kill Kazuki. Sougetsu eventually finds Kazuki at Amakusa castle. There, he lets Kazuki rescue Hazuki and stays behind to fight Zankuro. He slays Zankuro and returns to his clan.
