A member of the Kazama ninja clan and the brother of Sougetsu and Hazuki. He wields the power of flames for his skills. He tends to act before thinking. When his younger sister Hazuki was kidnapped by Amakusa, he left his clan in
order to save his sister. But in doing so, his clan ordered his brother Sougetsu to find and kill the escaped ninja. Both him and Sougetsu eventually met at Amakusa's castle. There, Kazuki defeated Amakusa(evil) and was able to save his sister. Sougetsu, on the other hand, stayed behind to fight Zankuro. Since then, he and Hazuki live a life of running from his clan.
